Last updated: August 10th 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through posterpowerup.com, operated by David Mc Cabe, of Apt. 2 Sutton House, Sutton Court, Seatown Place, Dundalk, Louth, Ireland.

By placing an order through our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. About Us

Business name: Poster Power Up
Legal name: David Mc Cabe
Business address: Apt. 2 Sutton House, Sutton Court, Seatown Place, Dundalk, Louth, Ireland.

If you have any questions about an order or these Terms & Conditions, please contact us using the details above.

2. Our Products

We sell posters and related printed products through our website.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, colours, dimensions and other information are accurate. However, colours displayed on a screen may vary slightly from the actual printed product depending on the customer’s device and display settings.

The dimensions, paper type, finish and other specifications of each product will be stated on the relevant product page where applicable.

3. Placing an Order

When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the products in your order.

After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation by email. This confirms that we have received your order but does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted.

A contract between you and us is formed when we accept your order and confirm that the products are being prepared or dispatched.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where there is a genuine reason to do so, including where a product is unavailable, there is an obvious pricing or listing error, or we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity. If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will provide a full refund.

4. Prices

All prices are displayed on the website in the applicable currency.

Where applicable, prices include VAT and other taxes required by law. Any delivery charges will be shown before you complete your purchase.

We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. A price change will not affect an order that we have already accepted.

If we discover an obvious pricing error after you place an order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible. You will have the option to confirm the order at the correct price or cancel the order for a full refund.

5. Payment

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout.

Payment must be successfully received before your order is processed and dispatched, unless otherwise agreed.

We do not store your full payment card details. Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers, whose own terms and privacy policies may also apply.

6. Delivery

We currently deliver to:

  • Ireland
  • The United Kingdom
  • Europe

Available delivery options, estimated delivery times and delivery costs will be displayed at checkout or on the relevant product page.

Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed unless we have expressly agreed a specific delivery date with you.

We will aim to dispatch orders within 3 working days of receiving the order, unless a different processing time is stated on the product page.

If there is an unexpected delay, we will make reasonable efforts to inform you.

If you provide an incorrect or incomplete delivery address, additional delivery costs or delays may occur.

If an order is returned to us because the delivery address was incorrect or because the customer failed to collect the package, please contact us so that we can arrange the next steps.

7. International Orders, Customs and Import Charges

For orders delivered outside Ireland, additional customs duties, import taxes, VAT or other charges may apply depending on the destination and the value of the order.

Where such charges are payable by the customer, they are the customer’s responsibility unless we expressly state otherwise at checkout.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information and complying with applicable import requirements in their country.

For UK orders, the treatment of VAT, customs duties and other import charges may depend on the order value and the applicable UK rules at the time of purchase.

8. Your Right to Cancel an Online Order

If you are a consumer purchasing online, you generally have a legal right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason.

This statutory cancellation right is separate from your rights regarding faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied goods.

To exercise your cancellation right, you should contact us in writing within the applicable cancellation period using:

Email: contact@posterpowerup.com

You may use the following wording:

“I hereby notify you that I wish to cancel my contract for the purchase of [PRODUCT NAME], order number [ORDER NUMBER].”

You then generally have a further 14 days to return the goods after notifying us of your cancellation.

9. Our 14-Day Returns Policy

In addition to your statutory consumer rights, we accept returns within 14 days in accordance with the applicable cancellation and consumer protection laws.

To be eligible for a change-of-mind return, posters should be returned in a condition that allows us to resell them. You may handle and inspect the goods to the extent reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

You may be responsible for the direct cost of returning goods when exercising a change-of-mind cancellation right, provided we have informed you of this before your purchase.

Please contact us before returning an item so that we can provide the appropriate return instructions.

10. Refunds

Where you validly cancel an order under the applicable cancellation rules, we will refund the payments we are required to refund, including the applicable standard delivery charge.

We will normally issue the refund using the same payment method used for the original purchase, unless otherwise agreed.

Where permitted by law, we may withhold the refund until we receive the returned goods or you provide evidence that you have sent them back.

We will process refunds within the legally required timeframe.

If you selected a more expensive delivery option than our standard delivery service, we are not required to refund the additional amount attributable to the more expensive option.

11. Condition of Returned Goods

You are entitled to handle goods to the extent reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

If goods have been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary and their value has been diminished as a result, we may be entitled to make an appropriate deduction from the refund where permitted by law.

We recommend returning posters carefully packaged to prevent damage during transit.

12. Personalised or Made-to-Order Products

Where a product is specifically personalised or made according to your specifications, the statutory right to cancel may not apply in certain circumstances.

Any products affected by this exception will be clearly identified before purchase.

This does not affect your statutory rights if the product is faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise does not conform to the contract.

13. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, defective, does not match its description, or you receive the wrong product, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at:

Email: contact@posterpowerup.com

Please provide your order number and, where appropriate, photographs showing the problem.

You have statutory consumer rights in relation to goods that are faulty or do not conform to the contract. Depending on the circumstances, these rights may include repair, replacement, price reduction or a refund.

We will deal with valid claims in accordance with applicable consumer law.

Where a return is required because the product is faulty, damaged, incorrect or otherwise our responsibility, we will cover the appropriate return costs in accordance with applicable law.

14. Lost or Damaged Deliveries

If your order appears to have been lost or arrives damaged, please contact us.

We will investigate the issue with the relevant delivery provider and work with you to resolve it.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits your statutory consumer rights relating to delivery, loss or damage.

15. Product Availability

We do our best to keep our website information accurate and products available.

If a product becomes unavailable after you place an order, we will contact you and may offer an alternative or provide a full refund for the unavailable product.

16. Website Use

You agree not to misuse our website, attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, interfere with the operation of the website, or use the website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.

We may temporarily suspend or restrict access to the website where reasonably necessary for maintenance, security or other legitimate reasons.

17. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including your statutory consumer rights.

Subject to this, we will not be responsible for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable or that are unrelated to our breach of these Terms & Conditions.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your legal rights as a consumer.

18. Complaints

If you have a complaint about your order or our service, please contact us first:

We will try to resolve complaints fairly and promptly.

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Our Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, how long we retain it and the rights available to you.

20. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in the country where you live give you additional rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions prevents a consumer from relying on mandatory consumer protection rights applicable in their country of residence.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The version applicable to your order will be the version displayed on our website when you placed your order.
